About
Two chapters:
architecture in Seoul, Korea
interiors in Vancouver, Canada
I studied architectural design at Hanbat National University in Daejeon and spent three years at Baum Architects in Seoul, where you learn that a drawing is a legal instrument before it is a picture.
I moved to Canada in 2012, retrained in interior design at BCIT, and have practised in Vancouver since 2022, first at House of Bohn on multi-family, display homes and commercial work, then at Measured Architecture on high-end residential, work that has run from single rooms to full-home renovations.
Saebom Kim Design opened in 2026. I keep final say on the design direction, which was the reason for starting it, and this is what that costs and what it buys.
I work with clients in both Korea and Canada, in Korean or English, and can run a project remotely across the time difference.
Working with Saebom was a joy. She is meticulous in her work, thoughtful and studious in her approach, and consistently strives to achieve excellence. Working closely alongside me, her commitment to ensuring that the final product remained true to our creative vision was a real asset to our team.
Where Saebom shines brightest is in her technical delivery. Her work is accurate, precise, highly considered, and aesthetically beautiful. She brings a rare combination of technical rigor and design sensitivity to everything she produces.
