About

I studied architecture at Hanbat National University in Daejeon and spent three years at Baum Architects in Seoul, where you learn that a drawing is a legal instrument before it is a picture.

I moved to Canada in 2012, retrained in interior design at BCIT, and have practised in Vancouver since 2022, first at House of Bohn on multi-family, display homes and commercial work, then at Measured Architecture on high-end residential, work that has run from single rooms to full-home renovations.

Saebom Kim Design opened in 2026. I keep final say on the design direction, which was the reason for starting it, and this is what that costs and what it buys.
